British footwear powerhouse Clarks Originals is back with another exciting collaboration, once again teaming up with music legend Liam Gallagher to reimagine a classic silhouette. Following the massive sell-out success of their 2022 partnership, the duo is now reviving the Clarks Desert Rain, a rare and stylish design first introduced in the early 2000s.
Launching on March 20, this limited-edition drop arrives just in time for Clarks’ 200th anniversary, blending the brand’s rich heritage with Gallagher’s distinctive style. The LG Desert Rain stays true to Clarks’ signature craftsmanship, featuring a premium pebble crepe outsole, a jumbo cotton cord upper in classic tonal suede, and Gallagher’s silhouette branding on the heel. Additional details include a double-sided suede fob, with Clarks Originals branding on one side and Gallagher’s unmistakable profile on the other.
Sharing his excitement, Gallagher described Clarks as the ultimate statement of sophistication:
“Clarks is a sophisticated shoe. It’s like a Bentley or an old Rolls-Royce – classic! I know when I put on Clarks. Like when I put these Clarks Desert Rain on today, I feel proper.”
A lifelong Clarks fan, Gallagher has been rocking the brand since his school days and famously sported them during Oasis’ ‘90s heyday. His first Clarks collaboration was sparked by a tweet urging the brand to bring back the discontinued Rambler, which led to the LG Rambler—a sneaker that sold out within minutes.
The Liam Gallagher x Clarks Originals LG Desert Rain will be available for £140, dropping online, in selected Clarks stores, and through exclusive stockists. Hardcore fans can even get their hands on a pair a day early, with an exclusive early release on March 19 at Clarks Originals stores on Berwick Street in London and Kings Street in Manchester.
